Election Year 2006--We have a surprise for the Democrats and the Republicans. There is another voice; the voters, wanting to be heard not herded. Nearly 1 in 5 voters in Florida registers as NOT Democrat nor Republican.
They want to be represented; but, they want to speak for themselves. And that number is growing.
As we celebrate our independence we see the need for REFORM. The founders of this country did not expect self-serving partisanship in government. They expected educated civil discourse, enlightened self-interest, and truly reasoned compromise over the common ground of the publics interest.
The D's and R's have forgotten that in favor of 'Divide and Conquer; win at any cost' 'slash and burn' mentality of politics. Then, they have the nerve pass the bill along to the people to pay. There is a new way coming this fall.
